I learned that random word technique is another effective way to generate idea. Similar to juxtaposition which it require 2 different items and then link them together to make a new idea. However, random word technique solves one problem by using any random word. For example, how to an addict do drugs and use a word completely random like a dog. Then we describe the dog:
1) They smell bad.
2) They are man best friend.
3) They eat dog food or junk.
With 3 associations, we can use it to solve problem:
1) Like make the drug smell bad and feel ill whenever am addict take a dose
2) Encourage people to help an addict to stop taking drug
3) Make the drug have horrible taste
